Sonic Branding, Original Music & Sound Design for Fashion Films
L’ARCA is a Barcelona-based fashion brand founded by designer Nina Balmes, known for its refined and timeless approach to contemporary couture. Since the presentation of the brand’s first collection, Irradian Sound has collaborated closely with L’ARCA to develop the original music and sound design for the fashion films accompanying each of its collections.
Sonic Branding Through Bespoke Music
Over the years, Irradian Sound has crafted the bespoke music and sound design for more than eight collections, helping shape the sonic identity of the brand. Each project begins with an in-depth dialogue with the designer to understand the emotional and conceptual direction behind the new collection. This process allows us to translate the visual language of the garments into a carefully designed musical and sonic narrative.
Original Sound Created from Scratch
All music and sound elements are created from the ground up, avoiding the use of sound libraries and instead developing a unique sonic palette tailored to each collection. Through a combination of digital sound design, original composition, and handcrafted foley techniques, we build a distinctive sound world that supports the rhythm, atmosphere, and storytelling of each fashion film.
A Long-Term Collaboration in Sonic Identity
The result is a consistent yet evolving sonic identity that accompanies the brand’s creative evolution from season to season. By approaching each collection as a new sonic landscape, Irradian Sound contributes to shaping an emotional layer that enhances the visual narrative and strengthens the brand’s distinctive presence within the contemporary fashion scene.
